Auburn vaulted into the top 5 of the Associated Press Top 25 rankings released Monday while Kansas remained No. 1 after its win over North Carolina one week into the 2024-25 season.Five teams earned first-place votes — including the Tigers — with the Jayhawks (2-0) leading the way with 44.Alabama (2-0) remained No. 2 followed by UConn (2-0), Gonzaga (2-0) and the Tigers (2-0), who overcame an altercation on the team plane to win at Houston over the weekend.
