(NEW YORK) — Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe has agreed to a one-year deal with the New England Patriots, according to Yahoo! Sports.
The 32-year-old has played nine NFL seasons between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings.
He played 16 games last season, hauling in 36 catches and three touchdowns.
He joins a talented group of Patriots tight ends that includes Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
